Massimo van der Plas is the New Chief Creative Officer of FCB Amsterdam


Starting February 1, 2017 Massimo van der Plas, will be the new Chief Creative Officer of FCB Amsterdam. Massimo was chosen after 2 years for a new challenge. In recent years he was responsible for, among others Lidl, Ditzo, Bavaria 8.6 and T-Mobile, for which he won a Spin Award in 2016. Earlier Massimo was ECD at J. Walter Thompson and Publicis.

Massimo said, “FCB Amsterdam deserves a creative vision. We’re going to work hard. There are enormous opportunities. FCB Amsterdam has a beautiful customer list and is part of a strong network including,  sister agency and hotshop Happiness.”



Jos Vis  (CEO of FCB Amsterdam): “I am very proud that we can welcome Massimo as new CCO. We want to strengthen our creative profile and yes, given our size and clientele there are a lot of opportunities. But I fully realize that there is a challenge to present ourselves much more creatively. I see Massimo as the person to make this happen.”


Massimo van der Plas part of the board will, together with Benjamin Messelink (Chairman), Arjan Hamel (CFO) & Jos Vis (CEO).
