As Women’s History Month comes to a close, we’re glad to share some words of wisdom from two of our senior female leaders on how far women have come since the days of suffrage. March has officially been designated Women’s History Month since 1987 and our troops, as you’ll hear in these video interviews, embrace the celebration.
Of course, as Elyssa Phillips, our EVP, director of global creative services points out, women still have a long way to go to achieve professional equality. Celebrating the demographic with tremendous clout and buying power is something we should proudly do, says Tina Manikas, global retail and promotions officer. In fact, Manikas encourages women to loudly and proudly tout their worth and influence so they continue to climb corporate ladders and get the recognition and compensation they deserve. And, in a heartfelt tribute to one of his favorite women, Jeff Tarakajian, EVP, group management director in New York, shares his pride, hopes and dreams for his daughter.
